I have worked in my own clinic for more than 6 months, so far I see patients who are complained due to conjunctivitis, dry eye, and CL complications. I usually observed eye lids. Moreover I checked direct smear from swab of conjunctiva and eye lid, and found a various kinds of pathogen including corynebacteria, staphylococci, fungi, and demodex.. I believe these pathogens should be related with etiology of MGD.
