I’m Reiko Arita, the representative of LIME working group.

LIME working group started various activities regarding meibomian glands in 2012. We held 17 of LIME meeting, 4 of Instruction Course in the annual congress of Japan Clinical Ophthalmology, 5 of international LIME conference and a Meibomian gland Seminar. We conducted some multi-center studies and published 5 articles in Ophthalmic journals.

Now, we launch the international website to expand the wave of exchange in meibomian gland research. Still to date, meibomian gland related diseases are tended to be overlooked in clinical practice, though meibomian gland related diseases are so common.
Let’s get together, interact each other and educate not only doctors but also patients!
